After registration, be sure to save the confirmation page from TDLR, which includes your TABS project number.
Optional Registration Assistance
If you prefer, TAS Consultants can complete the project registration on your behalf. This includes preparation and submission of required information through the TABS system.

Plan Review
The Texas Accessibility Standards require construction documents to be submitted to a Registered Accessibility Specialist within 20 days of the permit issuance date, along with a Proof of Submission form.
Once submitted, TAS Consultants will review plans for compliance with applicable accessibility requirements and provide a detailed report outlining any necessary corrections or clarifications.
We also coordinate required filings with TDLR and remain available to answer questions throughout the review process.
Inspection
The Texas Accessibility Standards require that a final inspection be completed by a Registered Accessibility Specialist no later than one year after construction is complete.
A Request for Inspection must be submitted by the owner or authorized representative.
Once requested, TAS Consultants will schedule an on-site inspection with the owner or project representative to evaluate accessibility compliance. A formal report will then be issued to both the client and TDLR.
